This is the first of two 3-hour Cuban Salsa and Son workshops presented by the fabulous Yainer and Anneta!!!!

Saturday 4th November 12:30 -3:30 Salsa and Son partner work

NB places are limited. This is to ensure that you all get sufficient attention from your teachers and so you can all see clearly what is happening and to help balance classes. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Adding flavour to your salsa. In each session Yainer & Anneta will take you through a series of moves to enhance and style your son and salsa dancing using both tempo, rhythm and body movement. Adding that dash of musicality to your dance that can add flavour, personality and a unique dancing style to stand out from the crowd.

YAINER CARBONELL VEGUERIZ( Cuba)

Since his arrival in 2010, Yainer has wowed the dancing public of Scotland and the UK by being the legend that he is, and in July 2014 joined forces with Anneta Tampuori, Ori’s Managing Director, Dancer, Performer and DJ to continue helping others discover their passion for dance!

His numerous UK performances and choreographic credits include dancing before her Majesty the Queen for the Commonwealth Observance at Westminster Abbey, the full-length theatre show ‘ASERE: On My Mind’ with a cast of 10 which debuted at Glasgow’s Mitchell Theatre in October 2011 and constant appearances at UK’s biggest Salsa Congresses such as the London and Bournemouth Salsa congresses, Afro Cuban Salsa Fiesta in Norwich and Salsa Feel The Heat in Wigan.

One of Cuba’s foremost professional dancers and choreographers with extensive experience for stage and screen in Contemporary dance, Cuban popular dance, specializing in Afro-Cuban folklore.

 ANNETA "La Rusa" TAMPUORI (Russia)

Anneta's training starts way back in Russia with an extensive history in Gymnastics, Synchronized Swimming and Latin dance. She is no stranger to stage and screen performances having participated in various competitions and festivals across Russia with her school's dance team. Since her arrival in the UK, 13 years ago, she has continued to undergo training in various other disciplines inc. Contemporary, Afro, Ballet, Cuban popular dance and Afro Cuban Folklore.
