It makes us feel great when we see our dancers enjoying themselves so much at our classes and parties and this is really one of the main reasons why we do it. I'm sure it is the same for other teachers throughout the dance world.

It's especially satisfying to see those who have never danced before beginning to relax into the group after having to summon up a large amount of courage just to come along in the first place.

We don't expect much in return as the smiles on peoples faces are reward enough so it was a big surprise last night when we were presented with a gift from one of our newer guys.

Although he oviously found it very hard to speak in front of the group he made a presentation during class and explained how salsa had made a difference to his life after some very hard times and gave us a superb self-made wooden key holder.

We are lucky to have such people in our group and we don't take all the credit as the others in class also make everyone welcome so it's on behalf of the 'team' that we say 'thank you and it's our pleasure'.
