Due to popular demand Sweet Salsa are holding an all-day Bachata class on October 10th 2015.

This will take place from 10.30am to 4.30pm at Fulwood Tennis Club.

The price is £35 per person an you need to book online to reserve your place.

For one week only, on Tuesday October 27th 2015, the salsa class in Clitheroe will be at a different venue. You will find us at The Conservative Club Castle Street, Clitheroe, BB7 2BT at the usual time of 8.00pm.

Some on-street parking is available or use the car park on Lowergate and walk through the passage into Swan Courtyard. The Con Club is directly opposite as you reach Castle Street.

Buy a drink at the bar downstairs and you will find us on the first floor in the function room.

We have new full day beginner classes starting from September 19th 2015.

These will take place at venues around the North West of England on a Saturday between 10.30am and 4.30pm.

Just a quick note to inform everyone that we are holding our last class at our Longridge venue on Monday 15th June 2015.

After 5 wonderful years in this great little room we have decided to have a break from Monday nights and concentrate on the other classes that we hold.

That leaves us with 3 regular evenings of salsa in Lancashire on a weekly basis - Clitheroe, Fulwood and Samlesbury.

There will be no class at Longridge on this Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2015.

It seems like ages since I was in this room at Preston Grasshoppers as events here seem to be a bit more few and far between than they used to be. It's also a place that I used to come to for the weekly class so there are lots of good memories for me here too.

Tonight was a live performance from the ever popular Palenke and they did not let us down. Two great sets of danceable tunes played with verve and style.

It was good to see so many of our guys on the dance floor putting into practice what they've recently learned in class.

It was full to bursting, everyone was dressed to the nines and smiling and dancing like crazy people. The ballroom looked fab as always and elbows needed sharpened to 'defend' your space on it.

Yes, it was what is becoming a regular salsa event at what can only be called Blackpool Tower.

Lots of the regulars from the Sweet Salsa classes were there and as far as I could tell, all were getting lots of dances in. Good work guys..

Sweet Salsa have scheduled a new round of six week beginner courses starting in the week beginning Monday 13th April 2015.

If you have ever thought about learning this fun dance but have always felt too nervous to give it a go this would be the ideal opportunity.

We have a new venue for Thursday evening classes due to the Golf Club room being used by their golf playing members during the summer.
